Use Case 3 Sharing: (Oculis: Using Artificial Intelligence to Help the Visually Impaired Navigate Their Surroundings) Oculis is an AI-powered mobile app that helps visually impaired individuals identify arriving buses in real time. Using a fine-tuned YOLO11 model trained on Singapore-specific bus data, it detects bus numbers and announces them to users. Future plans include expanding detection to road signs, landmarks, and travel destinations for a more comprehensive navigation aid.
