AI, Blockchain, and IP Rights: Turning Intellectual Property into an Investable Asset Class
Intellectual property (IP) is a valuable yet underutilized asset due to fragmented rights management and lack of structured valuation. Engram leverages AI to manage IP ownership and usage rights, while blockchain ensures secure, transparent transactions. By tokenizing IP, enabling fractional ownership, usage rights, and automating royalties, we bridge the gap between creators and investors, transforming IP into a liquid, investable financial asset. – Eugene Liang, Product Lead, Engram | |
04:15pm – 04:30pm | RegTech Use Of LLM To Map Regulatory Obligations
The promise of GenAI holds significant potential in Finance in navigating the intricate landscape of regulatory requirements and constant changes. Our project, using the FCA Handbook regulations, delves into the complexities of frameworks and revealed dense network cross-references, nuances in wordings and complexities like definitions and abbreviations. By leveraging large language models (LLMs) and our own knowledge base, we aimed to unlock efficiencies by automating the regulatory mapping to our risk management framework. Using LLMS in mapping obligations suggests that future regulatory compliance and change management will be shaped by effectively harnessing GenAI capabilities, leading to more uniform and simplified governance of risk management frameworks. – Thorsten Neumann, Venture Building Lead, AI, Standard Chartered Bank |
